Key Responsibilities

As a Legal Assistant – Litigation, you will:

• Provide essential administrative and litigation support to Litigation Practice Group attorneys.
• Manage case files, ensuring accuracy in document review, scheduling, docketing, and analysis preparation.
• Maintain organized electronic case files and ensure timely filing in both federal and state courts.
• Handle electronic filings and submissions with various courts.
• Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and colleagues, providing regular case updates and managing deadlines.
• Perform other duties as needed to support attorneys and meet the demands of active litigation cases.

Qualifications & Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

• At least five years of experience as a litigation legal assistant in a law firm, preferably in a litigation group.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with federal and state court filing procedures (experience with Relativity/FileSite is a plus).
• Excellent communication skills, with strong attention to detail in both written and oral work.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.
• A collaborative, team-oriented mindset and the ability to work well under pressure.
