UB Greensfelder has an opening for a full-time Legal Administrative Assistant for our Chicago office. This is a smaller office atmosphere that is within a larger firm network. Our office environment focuses on teamwork and supporting each other in order to better balance workloads. Therefore, strong teamwork and communication skills are highly desired.This is an in-office position that is eligible for hybrid/remote work after probationary period.

The responsibilities of this position include:calendar management, travel arrangements, time entry, transcription of dictation, expense reimbursement, file maintenance, trial preparation, and overall assistance with litigation processes and procedures. This position requires a detailed oriented, self-starter professional who can manage priorities while working with others to meet deadlines and client needs.

Qualified applicants will have:

• 5+ years law firm experience in litigation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and styling documents, ability to create table of authorities and table of contents.
• Experience with billing, electronic filing in state and federal courts, docket management, and trial experience.
• Experience to produce, review, and format legal documents.
• Excellent accuracy, grammar, and proofreading skills.
