Summary:
Manages and maintains contracts for MHS
Litigation experience highly preferred.
Required Work Experience: Two (2) years of experience in healthcare and contracting.
Responsibilities:
Drafts, reviews and revises standard existing contract templates.Exercises independent judgment and discretion in the implementation and oversight of the contract review process and responds to inquiries.Makes recommendations in formation of internal contract policies and processes for operational matters.Manages and maintains the contract database and system mechanisms in the contract review and approval processes.Oversees legal stamping and adherence to database process and archiving.Provides guidance to legal staff during the contract finalization process.Responsible for coordinating between different departments to gather, validate, track, and document necessary components for contract reviews.Runs daily reports and routes contracts to appropriate reviewers.Collaborates with attorneys and Senior Contract Specialist regarding contract negotiation and drafting.Develops and makes recommendations in formation of internal contract policies and processes for operational matters.Develops and provides substantive training to organization on contract review process and database use, as necessary.
