We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-skilled Litigation Attorney to join our team. This position is an excellent opportunity to work on complex and high-profile litigation cases. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling all aspects of personal injury litigation, from the initial client meeting through the resolution of the case. This role requires a deep understanding of the legal process, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to client service.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Litigation Attorney, your tasks will include but not be limited to:
1. Managing a caseload of personal injury cases from intake to resolution.
2. Drafting pleadings, motions, and appellate documents, and filing them with the court.
3. Performing legal research and analysis, preparing legal documents and reports.
4. Representing clients in court, arguing motions, attending depositions, and participating in trials.
5. Negotiating settlements on behalf of clients in an attempt to resolve cases favorably and efficiently.
6. Maintaining a high level of communication with clients, providing updates and information about their cases.
7. Collaborating with legal team members to develop strategies for litigation.
8. Staying updated on current laws and regulations within the personal injury field.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Litigation Attorney position should possess the following qualifications:
1. A Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
2. Must have a valid license to practice law in the jurisdiction.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in personal injury litigation.
4. Proven record of strong performance in managing complex personal injury cases.
5. Excellent negotiation, research, and communication skills.
6. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
7. Proficient in the use of legal research software and other legal tools.
8. Strong commitment to professional ethics and client confidentiality.
9. Proven ability to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
