You will be expected to handle a wide range of responsibilities, from drafting legal documents to representing clients in court. Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in all phases of litigation, including pre-trial, trial, and appeal stages.
- Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, motions, appeals, and agreements.
- Conduct extensive legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
- Participate in depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.
- Develop and implement litigation strategies to achieve optimal outcomes for clients.
- Analyze and interpret laws, rulings, and regulations to determine their impact on client cases.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and professional ethics.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a coordinated and effective approach to litigation.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients, ensuring that they understand their rights, responsibilities, and legal options.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Must be licensed to practice law in the state.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a litigation attorney or litigation associate.
- Demonstrated experience in insurance defense, deposition, and trial.
- Strong drafting skills with an eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases with varying levels of complexity.
- Proficient in legal research and analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with clients, colleagues, and court personnel.
- High level of professional ethics and integrity.
