We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-skilled Litigation Attorney to join our reputable legal team. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package. The candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
As a Litigation Attorney, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Handling all aspects of construction litigation cases from inception through resolution.
2. Conducting legal research, drafting motions, and preparing pleadings, responses, and other legal documents.
3. Managing all phases of the discovery process, including coordinating with clients and opposing counsel, drafting discovery requests and responses, and assisting with e-discovery.
4. Providing legal advice and guidance to clients regarding various legal issues related to construction law.
5. Developing case strategies and communicating regularly with clients about case progress and legal options.
6. Maintaining current knowledge of changes and developments in the law and advising clients accordingly.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Litigation Attorney position, you must possess the following:
1. Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
3. A minimum of 2 years of experience in litigation, motion practice, and e-discovery; construction litigation strongly preferred.
4. Excellent legal research and writing skills.
5. Strong negotiation, advocacy, and problem-solving skills.
6. Proficient in legal research tools and familiarity with e-discovery platforms.
7. Ability to manage multiple cases and projects, with a keen attention to detail.
8. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, court personnel, opposing counsel, and team members.
9. Strong work ethic, demonstrating a commitment to professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct.
