Are you a seasoned attorney with a passion for litigation? Are you ready to take on challenging cases in the legal industry? We are seeking a Litigation Attorney who specializes in Insurance Defense litigation, trucking litigation, and conducting depositions. In this role, you will be responsible for managing complex litigation cases, working closely with clients to provide the best possible legal solutions. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on high-stakes cases and make a significant impact in our clients' lives.
Responsibilities:
As a Litigation Attorney, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Managing a large case-load of complex litigation matters related to insurance defense and trucking litigation.
2. Conducting comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.
3. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents, ensuring they comply with current laws and regulations.
4. Conducting depositions, examinations, and cross-examinations of witnesses and presenting evidence in court to support the client's case.
5. Collaborating with a team of legal professionals to devise the best defense strategies and deliver high-quality legal services.
6. Advising clients on their legal rights, obligations, and potential liabilities, and providing them with regular case updates.
7. Representing the client in pre-trial proceedings, court trials, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
8. Staying updated on the latest industry trends, court decisions, and legislative developments that may affect the client's case.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Litigation Attorney position should possess the following qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor Degree from an accredited law school, Active License to Practice Law in Pennsylvania
2. A minimum of 2+ years of experience in litigation, particularly in insurance defense litigation and trucking litigation.
3. Proven experience in conducting depositions and representing clients in court.
4. Exceptional legal research and analytical skills, enabling the development of effective defense strategies.
5. Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
6. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle a large case-load and meet tight deadlines.
7. Admission to the State Bar and in good standing.
8. A strong commitment to ethical legal practice and maintaining client confidentiality.
