Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of personal injury cases, including auto accidents, slip and falls, product liability, medical malpractice, and other negligence-related claims.
- Conduct thorough legal research and gather relevant case information and evidence.
- Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents with the court.
- Represent clients in depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials.
- Develop and execute effective litigation strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
- Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance companies.
- Provide clients with clear, timely updates on the status of their cases and educate them about their legal rights and options.
- Collaborate with paralegals, investigators, and other legal staff to prepare cases for trial.
- Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.
- Stay current with developments in personal injury law and relevant legal precedents.
