We are seeking a passionate and experienced Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This full-time, permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to handle a diverse range of litigation matters in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have the chance to work on a variety of challenging and complex cases, including tort, liability, and general business litigation.
Responsibilities:
- Handle a diverse range of litigation matters including tort, liability, general business, and more.
- Develop and implement effective litigation strategies to manage and resolve cases in a timely manner.
- Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in criminal or civil litigation.
- Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, appeals, contracts, and legal memorandums.
- Conduct extensive legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in litigation, specifically in tort, liability, defense, and general business law.
- Admission to the State Bar and in good standing.
- Proven experience in case management, with the ability to handle a large caseload and manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Exceptional research, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal strategies clearly and effectively.
