We are actively seeking a talented and experienced Employment Law Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This role will offer you the chance to engage in high-stakes litigation and to work on complex legal cases that require innovative strategies and solutions. You will be working closely with a team of dedicated legal professionals committed to delivering the highest level of service to our clients. Responsibilities:
1. Conducting thorough and detailed legal research and drafting legal documents, pleadings, motions, briefs, and opinions.
2. Representing clients in court and arguing cases before judges and juries.
3. Handling PAGA class actions and trial practices, and advising clients on the best legal strategies.
4. Communicating effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.
5. Keeping abreast of changes in the law and informing clients of the implications of these changes on their cases.
6. Collaborating with a team of attorneys to develop case strategies and prepare for trial.
7. Navigating complex issues of Employment Law, particularly CA Employment Law.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 1+ years of experience in litigation with a focus on class actions, trial practice, and employment law.
3. Admission to the State Bar of California.
4. Excellent legal writing skills with the ability to draft and analyze complex legal documents.
5. Proven experience in representing clients before courts and juries.
6. Deep understanding of employment law, particularly CA Employment Law.
7. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to resolve disputes favorably.
8. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and build trust with clients.
9. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
10. Demonstrated commitment to professional ethics and client confidentiality.
