As a Permanent Litigation Attorney, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Handling all aspects of civil litigation cases from inception through resolution, including pre-trial preparation, discovery, settlement negotiations, trial, and appeal.
2. Drafting and reviewing pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, and other legal documents.
3. Conducting legal research and analysis to develop effective litigation strategies.
4. Representing clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations.
5. Collaborating with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure high-quality legal services.
6. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant legal developments and trends in civil litigation.
7. Providing clear, concise, and timely communication to clients, keeping them informed about case progress and legal options.
8. Upholding the highest standards of professional conduct and ethical behavior at all times.
Job Details
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Litigation Attorney position will possess the following qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil litigation, with a strong preference for candidates who have handled a wide variety of cases.
4. Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
5. Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills.
6. Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under pressure.
7. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
8. High degree of professional ethics, integrity, and confidentiality.
