We are currently seeking a dynamic, experienced, and highly motivated Litigation Attorney with a specialization in Homeowners Association (HOA) to join our thriving legal team. This unique opportunity is perfect for a seasoned professional with a proven track record in condominium law, not-for-profit organizations, professional negligence, breach of fiduciary duty, and Community Association. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert legal counsel and representation in a variety of litigation matters concerning HOA legal issues.
Responsibilities
As a Permanent Litigation Attorney (HOA), your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
1. Providing legal representation to our clients in all aspects of HOA, condominium, and community association law.
2. Handling litigation matters involving breach of fiduciary duty, professional negligence, and other related legal issues.
3. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, leases, and other legal documents.
4. Advising clients on their legal rights and obligations.
5. Representing clients in court, before government agencies, or in private legal matters.
6. Conducting research and analysis of legal problems.
7. Interpreting laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
8. Presenting facts in writing and verbally to their clients or others, and argue on their behalf.
9. Preparing and filing legal documents, such as lawsuits, appeals, wills, contracts, and deeds.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A current license to practice law.
3. Minimum of 7+ years of litigation experience as a practicing attorney, and some specifically in HOA, condominium, and community association law.
4. Proven experience with not-for-profit organizations, professional negligence cases, and breach of fiduciary duty.
5. Excellent negotiation, research, and communication skills.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
7. Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
10. Exceptional interpersonal skills and a client-focused approach.
