Job Details
Job Details:
1. Handling all phases of litigation, including drafting pleadings, discovery, preparing for and attending depositions, hearings, trials, and mediation.
2. Conducting legal research and preparing legal memoranda
3. Representing clients in negotiations, settlements, and mediations.
4. Developing case strategies to effectively represent clients in legal proceedings.
5. Keeping abreast of legislative changes that may affect the company and its clients.
6. Participating in business development activities, including networking events, client seminars, and conferences.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following qualifications:
1. A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 2+ years of employment litigation experience
3. Admitted to practice law in the state and in good standing with the state bar.
4. Excellent analytical, communication (both written and oral), and organizational skills.
5. Proven track record of managing multiple cases and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
6. Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
7. Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to resolve complex disputes in an effective manner.
8. Ability to handle a high volume of cases and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
9. Strong commitment to client service and demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with clients.
10. A strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
