We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious Litigation Attorney to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling all aspects of civil litigation and commercial litigation cases, including trial preparation, trial practice, and product liability. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the legal industry, with a keen understanding of the complexities of litigation. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on high-profile cases, contribute to strategic decision-making, and make a significant impact on our clients' lives.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage all aspects of civil litigation and commercial litigation cases from inception through conclusion, including trial preparation, trial practice, and product liability.
2. Develop case strategy, conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and represent clients in court and before government agencies.
3. Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients, ensuring the most favorable outcome possible.
4. Collaborate closely with a team of attorneys and paralegals to ensure all case-related tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
5. Maintain current knowledge of changes in legislation and court decisions that may affect clients and their cases.
6. Provide legal advice to clients, explaining complex legal concepts in clear, understandable language.
7. Participate in business development activities, including networking events, client meetings, and presentations.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on civil litigation, commercial litigation, trial practice, and product liability.
4. Proven track record of success in litigation, including trial experience.
5. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex legal concepts clearly and persuasively.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions.
7. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, managing multiple cases simultaneously.
8. Commitment to maintaining the highest level of professional ethics and integrity.
