We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Permanent Litigation Attorney to join our esteemed legal team. This is an exceptional opportunity for an attorney who is looking to leverage their skills in civil litigation and liability cases. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, a compelling advocate, and a team player. Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Litigation Attorney, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Managing all aspects of complex litigation matters, including conducting discovery, taking and defending depositions, motions practice, and trial preparation.
2. Handling all aspects of civil litigation, including drafting pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, and briefs.
3. Representing clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in civil litigation.
4. Advising clients on their legal rights and obligations, providing counsel for legal strategies, and negotiating settlements.
5. Conducting legal research and analysis of laws, regulations, and legal articles to assist in the preparation of reports, legal advice, and case strategy.
6. Collaborating with a team of attorneys and legal professionals to develop case strategies and prepare for trial.
7. Participating in professional development and training sessions to stay updated on the latest legal developments and trends.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must have the following qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Must be a licensed attorney in good standing with the state bar.
3. Minimum of three years of experience as a practicing attorney, specifically in civil litigation and liability cases.
4. Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local laws.
5. Exceptional analytical skills, with a strong ability to draft and review legal documents, analyze legal advice, and apply legal principles and precedents.
6. Excellent negotiation skills, with the ability to resolve disputes and reach mutually beneficial agreements.
7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, judges, and opposing counsel.
8. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
9. Ability to manage multiple cases and projects, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
10. Proficiency with legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
