We are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will play an integral role in protecting the legal interests of our firm and its clients. This role offers an exciting opportunity to handle complex litigation matters, develop litigation strategy, and represent clients in court. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in motion practice, deposition experience, and commercial litigation.
Responsibilities:
- Review and manage all aspects of litigation including discovery, depositions, motion practice, trial preparation, and trial.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support litigation strategy.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and agreements.
- Represent clients in court and before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend clients or argue against opponents in civil litigation.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing exceptional client service.
- Collaborate with a team of attorneys and legal professionals to achieve desired case results.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and legal changes related to commercial litigation.
- Conduct risk management and mitigation activities to protect the firm and its clients.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Must be a member in good standing with the state bar of Florida
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a litigation attorney, specifically with motion practice, deposition experience, and commercial litigation.
- Proven record of strong performance in complex litigation matters.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in legal research tools and software.
- High degree of professional ethics, integrity, and gravitas.
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
