Litigation Associate - Tressler LLP

Role Description

Tressler LLP is currently seeking a litigation associate to assist with defense work in our Chicago, Illinois office. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 4 years of experience in tort litigation. Please note that this position is hybrid.

Essential job duties include:

• Reviewing and analyzing new files from clients
• Communicating and preparing status reports to clients
• Drafting pleadings and motions
• Conducting legal research when necessary
• Issuing and answering written discovery
• Preparing and leading depositions

Qualifications

• Active bar license in California
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• 3 or 4 years of experience in Tort litigation
