The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in litigation, particularly in consumer finance and real property disputes, and will be driven by a passion for their work. This is an excellent opportunity for highly motivated individuals with at least four years of experience at a recognized law firm and who are looking to take on a significant role in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in litigation, with a focus on consumer finance, real property, mortgage banking, title insurance, regulatory compliance, and licensing.
- Strong academic credentials from a top 100 law school.
- Expertise in civil procedure and excellent writing skills.
- Must be passionate, accountable, and willing to take risks in order to deliver successful outcomes for clients.
- Ability to handle complex matters and see the bigger picture while maintaining long-term client relationships.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a key associate on litigation matters related to mortgage banking, title insurance, and consumer finance.
- Manage cases from inception to resolution, including drafting legal documents, motions, and discovery requests.
- Provide strategic legal advice to clients and maintain strong relationships.
- Ensure that all work is accurate and timely, delivering high-quality results the first time.
- Participate in client meetings, case strategy sessions, and other collaborative efforts.
- Take ownership of cases and play an active role in litigation strategy.
