About the Job
We are seeking a talented and motivated Litigation Associate Attorney to join the prestigious Litigation department of a highly regarded full-service law firm in Northern California. This is an outstanding opportunity for a skilled attorney with extensive litigation experience to work on complex cases in business, commercial, trust & estate, and/or real estate law.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong academic background, a proven track record of success, and exceptional analytical, communication, and writing skills. This role requires creative problem-solving abilities, independent work, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute high-stakes litigation matters across various industries, including business, commercial, trust & estate, and/or real estate.
- Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
- Conduct depositions, and represent the firm in hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop and implement effective litigation strategies.
- Provide thoughtful legal counsel and maintain strong relationships with clients throughout the litigation process.
- Participate in case strategy sessions, client meetings, and negotiations.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the California State Bar.
- 4-7 years of hands-on litigation experience, preferably with a focus on business, commercial, trust & estate, or real estate law.
- Strong academic credentials and proven success in managing complex litigation matters.
- Exceptional legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- Ability to think creatively and solve problems effectively while managing competing priorities.
- Self-motivated, independent, and detail-oriented with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A client-centered approach with the ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
