Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of litigation, including conducting depositions, drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests, and representing clients in court.
- Conduct thorough and detailed investigations to uncover facts and evidence for each case.
- Collaborate with legal staff and partners to develop legal strategies and prepare for trial.
- Provide legal advice to clients and represent them in negotiations, settlements, and mediations.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of state and federal laws, court procedures, and legal precedent relevant to our practice areas.
- Build relationships with clients and maintain regular communication to keep them informed about case progress.
- Contribute to the firm's business development efforts by participating in client meetings, networking events, and other activities.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in civil litigation, with a preference for insurance defense litigation
- Active membership in the state bar and in good standing.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound legal judgments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage caseload, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure.
- Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills.
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
- Commitment to providing high-quality legal representation and outstanding client service.
