Litigation Administrative Assistant - Spherion

About the Job
New opportunity in downtown Charleston for a Litigation Administrative Assistant to support firm teams within medical and tort law. Must have 3+ years of experience supporting multiple attorneys in a large firm. This firm serves Fortune 200 clients, litigating high-stakes cases. The team has built great relationships and collaborates with the leaders in the Charleston community. If you have job hopped and have not been in one consistent place over 2 years your resume will not be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Trial experience is a must
- Setting up/coordinating deposition is a must
- The ability to proofread documents is a must
- Transcribe, revise, and finalize correspondence
- Ensure documents are filed with the courts
- Coordinate conference calls and meetings
- Schedule depositions and client meetings
- Other clerical needs as they arise
Skills:
- Problem solving
- Adaptable in changing work load
- Active listener
Qualifications:
- Have worked with multiple attorneys in a large office
- Previous experience with billing software, time entry
- 3+ years of recent State and Federal litigation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Document management system
- Electronic docket filing
- High attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication
Salary commensurate with experience, $60-70k
