POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Linux Systems Administrator, your roles and responsibilities will include:

• Red Hat LINUX command line administration
• Command level troubleshooting of OS and associated hardware/software
• Apply Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and mitigation of vulnerabilities as directed by IA based on scan findings and applicable DoD direction
• Manage cross domain enterprise level solutions
• Re-imaging workstations, servers, and databases (both physical and virtual)
• Be a member of a cross functional team responsible for enterprise class systems, specialized Linux OS, cross domain solutions, boundary devices and customer service.

QUALIFICATIONS

Most importantly, you need to be a passionate Linux Systems Administrator who enjoys his work and is considered to be one of the best within your organization. The ideal Linux Systems Administrator would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:

• This position requires an active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Must be willing and able to obtain a polygraph within a reasonable amount of time after hire, with acceptable timing determined by manager.
• Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
• Bachelor’s degree in a specialized area; or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
