We are seeking a Linux System Administrator to manage essential infrastructure services, ensuring high availability and performance of data center services, physical and virtual server-class systems and storage. In this role you are expected to lead medium-to-large scale projects, design and implement system policies, conduct advance troubleshooting, and are pivotal in the direct recovery efforts during critical system failures. You will also mentor Tier I/II staff members. Professionals in this role are expected to have the ability to work alone and as part of larger team to complete projects on time.
+ Lead security vulnerability assessments and mitigation efforts on Linux systems and other devices, leveraging advanced features of Tenable Nessus.
+ Experience with Linux provisioning server tools such as Kickstart and Cobbler to facilitate the automation of network-based system installations of multiple computer operating systems.
+ Develop, refine and implement sophisticated security mitigation strategies, contributing to the enterprise s cyber framework.
+ Enterprise-level management of Hyper-converged Infrastructure, vendor hardware and software across multiple data centers.
+ Use Atlassian s team collaboration software suite like Jira and Confluence to help organize teams, discuss and complete shared work.
+ Use ServiceNow or other enterprise digital workflow tools.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
+ Must possess a TS/SCI clearance with appropriate polygraph.
+ Advanced expertise in VMware suite, CentOS and RHEL 7/8/9 system administration, and VDI (specifically VMware Horizon, Citrix VDI).
+ In depth experience with Active Directory, LDAP and Centrify for identity management, Infoblox for core network services, and proficiency in using Nagios and Splunk for comprehensive system monitoring and analytics.
+ Skills in automation scripts and experience with Salt and Ansible for configuration management are crucial.
+ 5-9 years of experience in a similar role
+ Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Degree can be substituted with additional 2 years of relevant experience.
Certification Requirements:
+ CompTIA Security CE (required)
+ VMware Certified Professional, Red Hat Certified System Administrator or Red Hat Certified Engineer a plus.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $126610 - $215270
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
