Role Overview

As a Linux Systems Administrator, you will join a collaborative team specializing in enterprise-class systems, advanced Linux OS environments, cross-domain solutions, boundary devices, and customer service. This on-site position supports classified work at Fort Belvoir, Virginia, and requires a TS/SCI security clearance.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer Red Hat Linux environments, focusing on command-line operations and troubleshooting.
• Manage and maintain cross-domain enterprise-level solutions and boundary devices.
• Implement Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and address vulnerabilities based on Information Assurance (IA) requirements.
• Re-image and configure workstations, servers, and databases in both physical and virtual environments.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and ensure system availability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system configurations and achieve project objectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance required, with willingness to complete a polygraph as directed by the customer.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in Linux system administration, including command-line operations.
• Technical Skills:
  • Red Hat Linux administration and troubleshooting.
  • Applying and managing STIGs.
  • System/server builds and advanced troubleshooting.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience (Master’s degree preferred but not required).
