Job Description: Our client, a large defense contractor, has an immediate opening for a Linux System Administrator with an active DOD TS/SCI to work from their Fort Belvoir, VA facility. As a Linux Systems Administrator for Cyber Systems, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for enterprise class systems, specialized Linux OS, cross domain solutions, boundary devices and customer service. We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences: Red Hat Linux, system/server builds, advanced troubleshooting, cross domain, and detail orientated.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a specialized area; or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree.
Clearance Requirements: This position requires an active TS/SCI security clearance. Must be willing and able to obtain a polygraph within a reasonable amount of time after hire, with acceptable timing determined by manager. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Command level troubleshooting of OS and associated hardware/software
Apply Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and mitigation of vulnerabilities as directed by IA based on scan findings and applicable DoD direction
Manage cross domain enterprise level solutions
Re-imaging workstations, servers, and databases (both physical and virtual)
Current and Active TS/SCI Clearance - willing to complete Poly as directed by customer
