Description:

This candidate will design, develop, test, and document software code. They will also plan, analyze, program, and implement coding practices. The candidate will be expected to lead a software development team and ensure work is completed in accordance with the constraints of the technical process being used on any particular project. Must be able to communicate plans and progress, identify potential problems, and recommend viable solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with ten (10) years of applicable experience
  OR
  Master's degree with eight (8) years of applicable experience
• Extensive experience developing in C and Python
• Low-level development experience - e.g. interrupt handlers, device drivers, controlling peripherals, reading/writing Flash memory, etc.
• Experience developing software drivers and applications
• Experience processing digital signals
• Experience developing client/server applications
• Ability to analyze and implement operating systems, architectures, and interfaces
• Experience developing code using Assembly and high-level programming languages
• Ability to reverse engineer software and code
• Experience developing embedded software
• Experience peer reviewing software and moderating software peer reviews
• Excellent communication skills with team and clients (both written and verbal communications)
• Team-based collaborative abilities
• Resourceful in terms of problem solving and troubleshooting
