Industrial Maintenance Technician
The Lining Technician is a critical member of the maintenance team, responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of industrial machinery and systems. This role is ideal for an experienced Industrial Maintenance Professional with a strong background in both mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, as well as expertise in complex industrial systems.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair issues with industrial machinery, including mechanical and electrical systems, to minimize downtime.
Perform preventive maintenance to ensure machinery and equipment are operating at optimal efficiency.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to:3-phase systems
480-volt systems
PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers)
Motors and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
Sensors and switches
AC/DC electrical systems
Hydraulics and pneumatics
Conveyor systems
Interpret and utilize blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals for troubleshooting and repair purposes.
Install, modify, and upgrade equipment as necessary to meet production and safety standards.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and system modifications.
Collaborate with operations and production teams to address equipment needs and ensure timely repairs.
Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Qualifications
Experience: Proven expertise in industrial maintenance, with a focus on mechanical and electrical systems.
Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of components such as:3-phase systems
PLC programming and troubleshooting
Motors, VFDs, sensors, and switches
Hydraulics and pneumatic systems
Conveyor systems and related technologies
Tools: Proficient in the use of diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze and resolve complex issues efficiently under time constraints.
Flexibility: Must be willing to work across multiple shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Compensation
Competitive hourly rate ranging from $28 to $32/hr, depending on experience and qualifications.
