Lining Technician (Industrial Maintenance Technician)

The Lining Technician is a critical member of the maintenance team, responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of industrial machinery and systems. This role is ideal for an experienced Industrial Maintenance Professional with a strong background in both mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, as well as expertise in complex industrial systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair issues with industrial machinery, including mechanical and electrical systems, to minimize downtime.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure machinery and equipment are operating at optimal efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to:
  • 3-phase systems
  • 480-volt systems
  • PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers)
  • Motors and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
  • Sensors and switches
  • AC/DC electrical systems
  • Hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Conveyor systems
• Interpret and utilize blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals for troubleshooting and repair purposes.
• Install, modify, and upgrade equipment as necessary to meet production and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and system modifications.
• Collaborate with operations and production teams to address equipment needs and ensure timely repairs.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience: Proven expertise in industrial maintenance, with a focus on mechanical and electrical systems.
• Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of components such as:
  • 3-phase systems
  • PLC programming and troubleshooting
  • Motors, VFDs, sensors, and switches
  • Hydraulics and pneumatic systems
  • Conveyor systems and related technologies
• Tools: Proficient in the use of diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze and resolve complex issues efficiently under time constraints.
• Flexibility: Must be willing to work across multiple shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Compensation

• Competitive hourly rate ranging from $28 to $32/hr, depending on experience and qualifications.
