The Lining Mechanic is an entry-level position within the mechanical field, designed for individuals with a strong foundation in mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience. Key Responsibilities
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment used in lining operations.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement solutions to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
Utilize hand tools and power tools to repair, adjust, or replace mechanical components.
Work collaboratively with a team to ensure machinery is running safely and efficiently.
Follow safety protocols and industry standards at all times.
Assist with installations, modifications, and upgrades of mechanical systems as required.
Document maintenance activities, repairs, and issues for record-keeping and reporting purposes.
Qualifications
Mechanical Aptitude: A strong understanding of mechanical systems, tools, and their applications.
Experience: Previous experience in one or more of the following roles is required:Millwright
Mechanic
Auto Mechanic
Maintenance Technician
Tools Knowledge: Proficiency with a variety of hand tools and power tools.
Adaptability: Willingness to learn new systems and adapt to various mechanical challenges.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks.
Shift Requirements
Flexibility is essential. Candidates must be open to working all shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, as the operation requires.
Compensation
Competitive hourly pay ranging from $22 to $25/hr, depending on experience and qualifications.
