Line Cook - Tribute - 30hop

Tribute Eatery & Bar in Coralville is looking for a part-time Line Cook to join our team! We pride ourselves on providing an upbeat fun experience along with an incredibly high level of standard in cleanliness, quality, and service.

Pay: Starting at $15.00/hour and up based on experience

Schedule: Full-time or part-time based on your availability. Weekend availability is a must.

Line Cook Job Responsibilities:

• Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies.
• Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces.
• Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.
• Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift.
• Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs.
• Exceptional communication skills- the ability to communicate clearly with the Chefs or highest management on the line.
• Cross-trained in prep-cook and other areas in the kitchen to help out when needed.
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• 18+ years of age
• 1+ years of line cook experience
• Must be able to lift up to 40lbs and stand for long periods.
