About the Job
Wahoo! Grill offers an eclectic, creative menu featuring daily specials of enticing pasta, steak, and fresh seafood dishes all prepared with a Southern flair and utilizing the freshest local and organic ingredients whenever possible.
We are currently looking for LINE & PREP COOKS to join our dynamic team. In these positions, you will but are not limited to:
Maintain Guests Satisfaction in regard to the culinary experience
Ensuring the prep stations, the kitchen stations, and pars are set up and met.
Prepare components of each dish on the menu by chopping vegetables, cutting meat, slicing, baking, preparing sauces, and essential preparation of all menu items.
Ensure all menu items and prepped items are accurately prepared, cooked, stored, and served
Perform daily line checks to ensure quality and proper pars and supplies are maintained and stocked
Ensure Health Code compliance and safety measures are followed at all times.
Must be able to work calmly and efficiently under pressure.
Must be able to prioritize and organize work assignments.
Must be able to adjust levels of volume and production accordingly
Requirements:
Line Cook - no less than 2 years of experience
All Applicants must:
Have a great work ethic
Take direction from and communicate effectively with Kitchen Manager, senior co-workers, FOH Managers
On-the-Fly adaptation as needed
Work and multi-task in a diverse team environment
Embrace our culture while at work
Utilize organizational skills, and show a clean as you go performance
Have reliable transportation to and from work.
