Jubitz is looking to add a Line Cook to our Kitchen team! In your first 90 days, you will get to know your team, and learn standard operating procedures for your position. Job Duties:
- Perform a variety of cooking duties
- Routing tickets by order type of fast service
- Promptly cooking, arranging, and presenting orders according to prescribed procedures
- Accurate preparation of all types of egg orders, omelets, steaks, chops, seafood, burgers, sandwiches, and appetizers
- Maintain a well-stocked and clean kitchen at all times
- Follow proper sanitary, safety, and food handling techniques and procedures
Job Requirements:
- Must have at least 3 years of experience cooking in a restaurant kitchen
- Experience with cooking breakfast items
- Experience in fast-paced environments
- Must obtain an Oregon Food Handler’s Certificate
- Able to handle a complex variety of tasks simultaneously while maintaining professional composure
- Dependable and reliable with a demonstrated commitment to service excellence
- Act with a sense of urgency
- Get food out fast correctly with a good presentation

This position functions primarily in a fast paced, high volume production kitchen operating 24-hours a day, 365-days a year. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand or walk for a minimum of 8 hours. Use hands and fingers for carrying utensils and dishware; handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms. Must be able to talk, hear, taste and smell. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
