Line Cook at Eden Resort & Suites

Overview Of Role:

The Line Cook will be responsible for setting up the prep station, stocking inventory, and maintaining sanitation standards. May be expected to work weekends and holidays. Part-Time and Full-Time positions are available.

$16 hourly

• Prepare the basic components of each dish on our menu
• Memorize and utilize our serving portion sizes and all basic meal prep procedures
• Ensure that the kitchen, food prep areas, and food storage areas meet cleaning standards
• Work with a team of cooks to do portion prep work for other shifts when needed
• Monitor product freshness and rotate out old products based on the restaurant's schedule
• Run a Char Grill and check temperatures on steaks
• Other duties as assigned by management

Education And Experience Required:

• A minimum of one (1) year of ala carte, line cooking experience in a high-volume environment, is required
• A high school diploma or GED, is preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift at least twenty-five (25) pounds
• Ability to perform activities such as bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, pushing, lifting, and grasping
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
