Position Summary:
As a Line Cook at Manhattan Project Beer Company, you will be an essential member of our kitchen team, preparing high-quality food to complement our brewery's beautiful beers. You will work in a fast-paced, dynamic kitchen environment, ensuring the smooth execution of food service, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to food safety standards. The Line Cook will support the kitchen team to deliver exceptional dishes and contribute to an inviting atmosphere for guests at our brewery.
Food Preparation & Cooking:
- Prepare ingredients and dishes according to the menu and recipes, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation.
- Cook and plate food orders with speed and accuracy during service hours.
- Assist with the preparation of all dishes on the menu & any daily specials.
- Ensure that all items are cooked to the appropriate temperatures and meet health and safety standards.
- Prepare ingredients and dishes according to the menu and recipes, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation.
Station Management:
- Maintain an organized and clean station, adhering to company standards for food preparation and kitchen cleanliness.
- Rotate food products properly to minimize waste and ensure food quality.
- Ensure the proper handling and storage of ingredients and prepared foods, following food safety guidelines.

Collaboration & Communication:
- Communicate with the Executive Chef, Sous Chef, and other kitchen staff regarding food orders, special requests, or changes in the menu.
- Work closely with the front-of-house staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery.
- Assist in managing prep times and ensure all orders are completed efficiently.

- Follow all health and safety protocols, including proper sanitation procedures, safe food handling, and cleaning of kitchen equipment.

Inventory & Stocking:
- Help monitor inventory and ingredient levels, notifying the Executive Chef/Sous Chef on duty, when supplies run low, and need to be replenished.
- Assist in stocking paper items, food ingredients, and prepared foods in a safe and organized manner.

Experience:
- Minimum of [-2 years of line cook experience in a restaurant, brewery, or similar food service setting.
- Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment is preferred.

- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor during busy service periods.

- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.

- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a brewery kitchen or with pairing food with craft beer.
- Culinary certification or formal training.
- Food Handlers Certification
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, ovens, and mixers.
