Billy Jack's Shack, a well-known and vibrant bar/restaurant located in NoDa, is looking for a dedicated Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen and delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and quality standards
• Ensure that all dishes are cooked and presented to perfection
• Assist in the development and execution of new menu items
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain cleanliness and organization
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Contribute to a positive and team-oriented work environment

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a fast-paced restaurant
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
• Ability to handle multiple orders and prioritize tasks effectively
• Attention to detail and dedication to maintaining high food quality
• Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations and procedures
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
