SUMMARY: Prepares and cooks food products; maintains the quality, presentation, professional attitude, and sanitation of the kitchen; collaborates with service/delivery team to meet delivery orders promptly.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Preparation: Prepares and cooks food ensuring that all food is made with the highest quality, prepared fresh, ready, and available for orders
- Cooking: Operates all kitchen equipment to cook food to perfection, adhering to our established recipes and cooking times.
- Quality Control: Maintains high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation to meet or exceed our customers’ expectations.
- Order Coordination: Works closely with the kitchen team to manage the preparation and timing of orders, ensuring they are delivered to customers hot and fresh.
- Inventory Management: Monitors and manages inventory levels of ingredients to minimize wastage and maintain adequate stock.
- Cleanliness and Sanitation: Follows proper food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other kitchen staff, including service-makers and delivery drivers, to ensure smooth operations during the evening shift.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience as a line cook, preferably in a pizzeria or similar fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Knowledge of pizza preparation techniques, including dough stretching and pizza assembly.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet delivery order deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to food quality.
- Food handler’s certification (or willingness to obtain one).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
