As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and restaurant standards.
- Assist the kitchen team in the preparation and organizing of ingredients for service.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of ingredients and supplies.
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils.
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure a smooth operation and timely service.
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures while adhering to food handling and storage guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with team members and front-of-house staff to ensure a smooth flow of service.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience working as a line cook in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous Italian cooking experience highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and dedication to maintaining high-quality food standards.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
- Food safety certification is a plus but not mandatory.
