A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A RESTAURANT LINE COOK
As a Restaurant Line Cook, you are essential in our kitchen. You help produce our amazing food and deliver a positive customer experience each day. Your day in the kitchen includes food prep before you grill, saut, and broil foods according to quality guidelines and standardized recipes. You test the food as it"s being prepared by tasting, smelling, and piercing it with a fork to determine that it is thoroughly cooked. Once the food is ready, you portion it onto serving plates and add any gravies, sauces, or garnishes.
With your passion for food and your sense of urgency, you create delectable desserts, meats, salads, casseroles, and more in an efficient manner. You bring that passion with you as you train new employees to the position as well. Being able to create smiles through your culinary creations and appetizing presentations is your favorite part of the job!

QUALIFICATIONS
Passion for food
A team player with a hospitality first mentality and a keen willingness to learn
Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
Ability to stand, walk and lift heavy items for extended periods of time
Two years experience preferred, but we will train the right restaurant candidate who shows a willingness to learn in a collaborative environment
Do you work well as part of a team and thrive in a fast-paced environment? Is your attention to detail exceptional? Can you think quickly on your feet and handle problems as they come? If yes, you might just be perfect for this culinary position!
WORK SCHEDULE
This part-time or full-time position includes day and evening shifts as well as weekend shifts.
