Neighborhood Services Bar + Restaurant, the premier dining destination at Omni Tempe Hotel at ASU, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As an experienced Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing high-quality dishes in accordance with Omni’s standards. This position focuses on brearkfast and lunch service, so it is primarily an AM position.

• Prepare and cook menu items as directed by the Chef de Cuisine, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the restaurant.
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies for breakfast and lunch service.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking.
• Execute precise knife skills, cooking techniques, and plating standards.
• Monitor food quality while cooking and ensure proper seasoning and presentation.
• Work efficiently to manage time and resources during busy dinner shifts.
• Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
• Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure guest satisfaction.

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Line Cook in a high-volume restaurant environment.
• Expertise in breakfast / brunch service is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and cooking methods.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Present a calm demeanor and a positive attitude.
• Flexibility to work AM shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

*This position is a full-time, on-site position with no work from home flexibility.
