We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Line Cook to join our culinary team at Montgomery Heart and Wellness, a leading raw vegan restaurant dedicated to delivering innovative and nutritious plant-based dishes. As a Line Cook, you will play a key role in preparing and presenting high-quality raw vegan cuisine using fresh, organic ingredients and specialized raw food techniques.

In this role, you will be responsible for executing recipes to perfection, adhering to food safety and preparation standards, and collaborating with the kitchen team to create a memorable dining experience. Your creativity, passion for plant-based cuisine, and dedication to health-conscious cooking will be essential in maintaining the quality and consistency of our dishes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, assemble, and plate raw vegan dishes in accordance with restaurant recipes and presentation standards.
• Utilize raw food techniques such as dehydration, fermentation, blending, sprouting, and marinating.
• Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and handled with care to maintain their nutritional value.
• Adhere to food safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized workstation.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
• Maintain awareness of new trends and developments in raw and vegan cuisine.

Qualifications:

• Experience in a plant-based, raw vegan, or similar culinary environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of raw food preparation techniques and equipment (dehydrators, spiralizers, high-speed blenders, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining consistency and cleanliness.
• Passion for plant-based nutrition and a genuine interest in promoting healthy eating.
