Job Description
Job Title: LIMS/MODA Lab Systems Administrator
Location: Lexington, MA
About the role:
As a LIMS / MODA Lab Systems Admin, you will execute administration and maintenance activities in Lab Systems (e.g. LabWare LIMS, MODA) to support the Massachusetts Biologics Operations (MBO) site. You will maintain master data and workflows and help interface with instruments and other systems. You will provide support to the end-users and coordinate with Global system owners on system changes and communications. You will report to the Associate Director of Digital and Lab Systems Quality Assurance.
How you will contribute:
Maintain and update the workflows in the lab systems.
Manage changes and requests in the IT ticketing / change system (e.g. Service Now)
Help with system and instrument integrations, making configuration changes and coordinating with Global DD&T function.
Perform master data updates to support routine business changes and improvements.
Support and resolve master data issues and perform routine administrative activities.
Create and maintain method verification scripts and system documentation to support new functionality developments and routine updates.
Provide first tier application support for routine issues, including end-user questions and assistance resolving usage issues.
Support validation activities for ongoing projects.
Perform configuration to interface instruments with the lab systems.
Perform operations in the lab systems in compliance with regulations, and global and local requirements.
Represent company interests with the Global LIMS and MODA teams and act as liaison between Global and MBO site functions.
What you bring to Takeda:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Chemistry, Biology, or related discipline.
3-5 years pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry experience.
Configuration / development experience with Labware LIMS or MODA.
Have knowledge of the Labware LIMS and MODA systems and understanding of the processes they support.
Understanding of the systems when making decisions to determine whether process changes will have an impact on Data Integrity or the validated state of the lab systems.
Collaborate and engage with the business / personnel in the labs.
Coordinate with vendors.
Support regulatory inspections of Takeda as a subject matter expert.
Work with lab personnel to ensure shared understanding of actual system use and make recommendations for improvements to the process or system configuration.
Feel comfortable managing the activities associated with multiple workstreams, act as an Subject Matter Expert and technical team member in lab systems related projects.
Travel may be required for business meetings with company peers, vendors, contractors, and professional development.

May be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and other clean room garments daily. This may include safety shoes, safety glasses, aprons, face shields, lab coats, full body gowns, hair nets and gloves and hearing protection.
Need to remove all make-up, jewelry, contact lenses, nail polish and/or artificial fingernails while in the manufacturing environment.
Work in a cold, wet environment.
Work multiple shifts, including weekends, or be asked to work supplemental hours, as necessary.
Work around chemicals such as alcohol, acids, buffers and Celite that may require respiratory protection.

108,500.00 - 170,500.00The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-termincentives.
