Lighting Inside Sales Specialist - Phoenix - Halco Lighting Technologies

Halco Lighting Technologies, one of the fastest growing lighting products supplier, is seeking an experienced Inside sales specialist. Position will be based in Phoenix, AZ and responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Interacting with customers to explore and uncover needs then suggest value added solutions
• Proactively and productively solve problems and identify opportunities for customers and the company
• Managing a portfolio of existing accounts including order entry, customer returns, rebates, warranty claims, credit requests, and cross selling while developing revenue opportunities
• Working collaboratively as necessary with regional sales managers to manage pipeline of opportunities as well as field support
• Submitting special price requests to pricing and preparing formal quotations
• Fielding calls for stock checks and customer pricing
• Responding in a timely and professional manner to any/all customer inquiries, questions, and/or concerns received via phone, e-mail, or fax.
• Following up on any open issues until they are handled to completion
• Communicate to appropriate internal resources any potential new and/or add-on sales opportunities, at-risk customers, competitive data, and/or other information that might be relevant to the overall business.
• Provide sales support for assigned regional sales manager including competition of item crosses

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of two years of inside sales/customer service experience in lighting or electrical distribution a must
• High aptitude in sales
• Extraordinary communication skills - Telephone, written and in person
• Problem solving skills - Solution focused with ability to diffuse negative outcomes
• Relationship builder - Professional, friendly and courteous
• Good at multi-tasking and keeping organized
• Self-driven - Results oriented and goal focused
• Skilled in utilizing Microsoft Office programs
• Experience using an ERP is a plus
