Lighting Designer (Contract) - Applied Minds, LLC

• Under the direction of the Chief Creative Officer and in collaboration with the architectural design team, design innovative high performance lighting solutions for highly complex large commercial and/or government building projects. 
• Draft lighting sheets in Revit
• Render lighting design in Revit
• Funneling all information from outside lighting consultants to internal design team
• Organizing lighting specifications, schedules, and cutsheets created by outside lighting consultants

• BS/BA in technical theater, engineering, design or related field is preferred.
• 10+ years experience as a lighting designer working on increasingly complex large industrial or commercial projects.
• Advanced experience in AutoCAD and Revit is required
• Ability to build Revit families for fixtures that don’t have them available
• Working knowledge of drafting for lighting design and/or electrical engineering
• Ability to work well in a team and take direction from lead designers
• Ability to multitask and work on a range of projects

Actual compensation for an individual will vary depending on skills, qualifications and experience.
