Position: MIG/TIG Light Metal Welder
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM – 4 PM
Role Overview: Seeking a skilled MIG/TIG Light Metal Welder with experience in light metal work and fabrication. Join our dynamic team where versatility and a willingness to assist in various departments are key. This role is vital to our production process, as you will be working on a variety of tasks, ensuring high-quality output and adherence to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform MIG and TIG welding tasks with precision and attention to detail.
Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications.
Utilize tape measure skills to ensure accurate measurements and fabrication.
Operate general fabrication equipment efficiently and safely.
Conduct quality tracking and inspections to maintain high production standards.
Assist with metal weaving, fulfillment, and general warehouse tasks as needed.
Work collaboratively with a tech school graduate team and other departments.
Follow all safety protocols and utilize provided PPE and welding equipment.
Mandatory Requirements:
Experienced in MIG welding techniques.
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints.
Strong tape measure skills for accurate measurement.
Ability to run general fabrication equipment.
Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork.
Additional Responsibilities:
Be flexible and willing to assist in machine set up and other departments when required.
Maintain an organized and clean work environment.
Report any equipment or quality issues to management promptly.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.
Complete daily production logs and reports as required.
