PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $35 - $37/hr
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.

Location: New Milford, CT
As a Machine Operator, you will:
- Be a working team member of the operating team – troubleshoot, adjust, and operate water treatment equipment, maintain proper water chemistry, operate river pumps, complete ETP rounds, compressor rounds, other outside rounds, and support both inside and outside operator roles as necessary.
- Demonstrate compliance with safety practices & procedures, environmental requirements, & housekeeping standards.
- Perform data collection & entry and maintain report data.
- Shutdown, start-up, and operate all outside area (WTP) equipment and inside area equipment (Co-Gen, steam system, water system, process air system, Rockwell control system).
- Participate in shift operations meetings & support plan of the day as assigned.
- Complete routine maintenance.
The ideal candidate will have:
- High School diploma or GED equivalency required.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience
- Demonstrated excellent safety performance and attendance
- to work on elevated work platforms, catwalks, scaffolding, etc. Enter and work in confined spaces.
- Able to perform Operator duties for water treatment equipment, water chemistry, river pumps, ETP rounds, compressor rounds, & other outside rounds as necessary)
- Good experience with Boiler operation, water treatment background, electrical generation.
