Duties:
- Simultaneously handle high-level and strategic aspects of multiple legal matters, ensuring comprehensive management from inception to resolution.
- Produce quality legal work and meet billing requirements to deliver excellent client services.
- Manage business and assist in generating new business through both group and individual efforts.
- Communicate effectively with attorneys and clients, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
- Work independently while maintaining a high level of productivity and attention to detail.
- Adhere to the highest ethical standards of the legal profession.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- A Ph.D. or Master’s Degree in a Life Sciences discipline is preferred.
- Expertise in immunology, genetics, molecular biology, and/or pharmaceuticals is highly preferred.
- Registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
- Licensed to practice law in good standing in Massachusetts.
- 6+ years of experience as a licensed attorney at a law firm or clerking; 6+ years of experience as a licensed attorney at a law firm is preferred.
