Specific Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Life Sciences Business Development Executive to join our team in the US. This individual will play a pivotal role in driving growth and sales efforts within our Life Sciences practice, specifically focusing on the MedTech and Pharma sectors. As a key member of our business development team, you will identify and develop new client opportunities, foster relationships with senior-level executives, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet our clients’ needs.
Responsibilities:
- Sales and Business Development: Lead sales efforts to identify new business opportunities within the MedTech and Pharma sectors, with a focus on growing the Life Sciences practice in the US.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring their satisfaction and identifying new avenues for service expansion.
- Proposal Development: Develop and present customized proposals to clients, showcasing our integrated consulting and technology solutions.
- Strategic Leadership: Stay up to date with industry trends and client needs, using this knowledge to drive business development strategies and identify new opportunities for innovation.
- Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with project teams to align client needs with deliverables, ensuring successful project outcomes and client satisfaction.
- Revenue Growth: Contribute to the overall financial success of the Life Sciences practice, including driving revenue growth, managing P&L, and meeting personal sales targets.
- Mentorship and Team Collaboration: Collaborate with senior leaders and mentor junior business development staff to foster a high-performing team culture.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in life sciences, business administration, or a related field (advanced degrees like an MBA or PhD are a plus).
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management within the life sciences industry (e.g., MedTech, Pharma, Biotechnology, Medical Devices).
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with life sciences industry trends, challenges, and opportunities, particularly in the MedTech and Pharma sectors.
- Sales Skills: Proven experience in selling consulting services, developing proposals, and managing complex sales cycles.
- Client Relationship Management: Strong ability to build and nurture relationships with C-suite executives and key decision-makers within client organizations.
- Business Acumen: Experience in managing revenue growth, meeting sales targets, and understanding P&L management.
- Collaboration: Strong team player with the ability to work cross-functionally and contribute to the overall success of the business.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to senior executives and diverse audiences.
The base salary range for this role is $100,000-$150,000
