Job Description: Children of America is seeking a motivated and experienced Licensing and Compliance Specialist to join our team. This position is responsible for administrative functions in the Licensing, Compliance, and Human Resource Department including collecting company and state required documents timely and supporting the field with licensing and compliance related tasks.
What are the day-to-day responsibilities?
- Ensures Corrective Action Plans for any violation meet all requirements and adheres to company policies.
- Notifies management and/or departments regarding onboarding process issues; collaborates and advises as appropriate and escalates non-compliance issues and concerns.
- Ensure timely support is provided to the field with licensing and compliance related tasks, including but not limited to obtaining state reports timely from schools, assisting and implementing Corrective Action Plans for violations, and other licensing and compliance related tasks in the department, as needed.
- Maintains internal spreadsheets and reports to reflect accurate data.
- Provides critical data analysis to direct supervisor on licensing violations.
- Excellent communication amongst coworkers, supervisor, and other departments.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills and customer focus to best supporting the field.
- Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars as required.
- Ensure that all activities operate consistently and ethically within the mission and values of Children of America.
- Passionate about Children of America's mission and able to promote and communicate the philosophy, mission and values of Children of America to employees.
Requirements:
- Must have at least two years of licensing and compliance experience
- Associate degree or college experience required.
