Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
Hourly Pay Rate: $35 - $45 per hr. (DOE)
Full Time (30 hours a week)
Shift:
- 8-hour shift on Saturday and Sunday, AND
- Thursday 12:30pm-4:30pm, AND
- Flexible schedule for additional 10 hours Monday-Wednesday(day shift)
Our new Adolescent & Young Adult Mental Health Outpatient Clinic in Woodland Hills, CA is hiring a Licensed Vocational Nurse!

As a Nurse (LVN), you will be responsible overseeing medical support for kids aged 12-28 years old for 3 levels of care at our Woodland Hills Clinic. The levels of care are outpatient, PHP, and IOP.

Responsibilities:- Medical touch point.
- Respond to reports of pain or sickness as they arise and assess the student.
- Determine when a student is to be placed on sick bed due to illness or pain.
- Accompany students to clinic or hospital should the situation arise; communicate findings to the students' parents and to the Clinical Director.
- Check the vital signs and weight of students as assigned.
- Monitor students in regard to mood, behavior and affect, and then chart the findings. (Particularly when a student is starting a new medication.)
- Communicate any pertinent medical information to the Treatment Team and the Psychiatrist either verbally or in written form.
- Co-facilitate psychoeducation group(Sleep hygiene, healthy nutrition, importance of medication).
- Attend weekly treatment team meetings.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Requires an active LVN license for CA
- Current active driver's license is required
- Current CPR certification is required
- Experience documenting in Electronic Medical Records(EMR)
- Comfortable working with high acuity clients
- Experience checking patient vitals
- Must be available to work Thursdays and weekends
