The skills that will be utilized include, but are not limited to: + Assist veterinarians in diagnosing and treating animals for various medical conditions. + Perform various medical procedures such as vaccinations, dental cleanings, and surgical assistance. + Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian. + Conduct laboratory tests and analyze results to aid in the diagnosis of illnesses. + Monitor anesthesia during surgeries and assist in recovery procedures. + Educate pet owners on proper animal care, nutrition, and medication administration. + Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all patients. + Provide compassionate and gentle handling of animals to minimize stress and ensure their well-being. + Assist in the maintenance of veterinary equipment and supplies. + Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure the highest standards of patient care and customer service. + Participate in continuing education and training to stay updated on the latest advancements in veterinary medicine. + Plus more! **Schedule:** This is a full-time job opportunity that requires working four 10-hour shifts per week, with some availability on weekends. **Compensation:** Starting at **$25 - 30 / hour** .
